Taizé worship is a meditative worship in the style of the Taizé community in France. It is gentle and reflective, joyful and peaceful, intended to facilitate prayerful listening to God. It incorporates meditative singing, scripture reading, silence and prayer. The worship form is an alternative to the typical church worship service. Taizé worship has attracted people from multiple countries and Christian traditions and encourages inclusivity.
